- When properly cared for, the Giant Red has great contrast to regular green plants and is suitable along the mid and background of your aquarium.

- Difficult care plant; it has high light requirements with no shade, needs high phosphates(1.5 - 1.0 ppm), not much nitrate (10ppm or less), and additional Co2 is required.
